JR Consulting was created in 1999. Our President, Judith Richard, has been a computer teacher/ consultant since 1980. Taking their cues from Star Trek, students would always dream, "... do you think it would be COOL if you could just talk to the computer and it would type what you say?"

When Judith discovered Dragon Naturally Speaking, she knew it was a good time to start her own consulting company, specializing in speech recognition.

In 2001, Judith met a software developer who created a program for his wife (a chiropractor). The program used Dragon Naturally Speaking for a totally "voice activated" database application for chiropractors. Judith started selling the program, called DC Talk, and in 2005 had over 350 clinics installed. In March, 2005, Judith acquired DC Talk and hired her own programming staff. Most of our features are based on current customer's input. Don't be afraid to share your great ideas, your voice is heard at JR Consulting!

Today, Judith teaches continuing education throughout the USA, specializing in computer creativity, productivity and speech recognition applications.

Matt Richard, Technical Consultant

webmaster

Matt Richard has been a with JR Consulting since 2007. You often reach him on the phone if you're calling in for technical support. If you ever need help outside of business hours, you can schedule weekends, nights, and early morning appointments. Matt will always make himself available for you, our customer.

Matt received his bachelors degree in physics from Southern Oregon University in 2002. He has extensive computer experience dating back from about the time he learned to walk.

At JR Consulting Matt is involved in software design, documentation design and implementation,coming up with ways to add the features to DC talk suggested by our customers and customer support of course!

Rocket Richard, HR Officer

Rocket is in charge of human resources at JR consulting. He makes sure everyone has an understanding of the company benefits, addresses any intra office issues, and brings us our slippers.

Rocket has been with the JR consulting since 2007. Rocket lives in Northeast Minneapolis with Matt.

Rocket was named after the legendary Maurice "The Rocket" Richard of the Montreal Canadiens.
